SEPART element design

 

Hydro-dynamically optimized design. Throughan annular gap between housing and distributionpipe, filtrate is collected and backwash isintroduced into the module, respectively.This results in a nearly constant radial velocityacross the module diameter leading to:

  • Minimized fouling due to very efficientbackwash impulse over the total crosssectionof the module.
  • Guaranteed module integrity since no o-ringsare used to separate the feed from the filtrateside.
  • Maximized life time due to reducedmechanical stress on the fibers
  • Reduced rack heightbecause all threeconnecting ports aremounted horizontally.
