This summer, Jurby WaterTech International proceeded to treatment of two water circulation cycles, namely high pressure polyethylene and ethylene oxide, at LUKOIL petrochemical plant in Burgas (Bulgaria).Having won the tender for treatment of a major water circulation cycle in the polymeric complex, Jurby WaterTech International developed JurbySoft® program consisting of the following: delivery of corrosion and scaling inhibitor; delivery of biodispersant; regular service maintenance. Under the terms and conditions of the tender, Jurby WaterTech International has delivered JurbySoft® chemicals and AQUADos automatic equipment for dosing of chemicals and control of treatment process. In the presence of the company's representatives, launch of equipment and debugging of treatment regime were executed. Summarizing the results of the first year operation, we can state that JurbySoft® program showed the sustained performance - consumption was reduced while production of polymers was increased. According to Galina Vlasova, Director of Chemical Water Treatment Division: "Effective stabilization JurbySoft® programs on protection of the technological process heat-exchange equipment against the negative impact of cooling water, as well as, the integrated approach enabled to ensure the continuous running of production". The fact is that prior to introduction of the system, production had to be stopped for removal of scale or biological slime from the heat-exchange equipment.
