The international company, Jurby WaterTech International, entered into agreement for performance of design works, manufacture and installation of a large water treatment complex for TPP-2 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. A special working group is formed in Department of Design and Quotation of Jurby WaterTech International that began the first phase of works, namely, design of the water treatment system and elaboration of design documentation for Astana TPP-2. It should be noted that the present project intensifies the presence of Jurby WaterTech International in Kazakhstan. Conclusion of this agreement was preceded by completion of works on manufacturing of the water treatment system for division Mangistau Nuclear Power Station - Kazatomprom- TPP-1 (Aktau, Kazakhstan).
Reference: TPP-2 in Astana city was put into operation in 1985. In recent years, in view of the dynamic development of the city and increase in population, the capacity of the plant was insufficient. To provide a stable and steady operation of the capital's energy complex, a special project on modernization of equipment at TPP-1 and TPP-2 was developed. New equipment introduction will ensure the reliable supply of citizens of Astana with heat and electrical energy. The total thermal power of TPP-2 is 925 Gcal and electric power - 350 MW.
The scope of activities of Jurby WaterTech International, an international engineering ЕРС(М) company: water treatment, water purification and water processing (filtration, deironing, softening, reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration and membrane technologies), turnkey water treatment systems, stabilization treatment of water (corrosion and scale inhibitors, biocides and antiscalants), chemical agents, chemicals for reverse osmosis and boilers, composite vessels and water treatment components and consumables.
