New unique project for VKG ENERGIA OU

Jurby WaterTech International entered into agreement with Estonian company VKG ENERGIA OU for design, manufacture and delivery of a set of unique equipment for Northern CHP (Kohtla-Järve, Estonia). This task is a part of a general project on construction of the Petroter II and Petroter III oil shale processing plants. A new water treatment station has to supply the PETROTER II and III heat-recovery boilers with feed water continuously and throughout the service life.

“We have to implement a technology-intensive and simultaneously challenging project: design, manufacture, installation, start-up and commissioning of the whole complex of equipment used for clean-up of condensate and treatment of highly demineralised (deaerator) water for feeding of heat-recovery boilers at the Petroter II and Petroter III oil shale processing plants of Viru Keemia Grupp AS. The subcontractor, Eesti Energomontaaz AS, that is engaged in execution of works on assembly of mechanical parts of equipment will help us in implementation of this project”, Giedre Naujokaityte, head of Engineering Department (Lithuania), comments.

The equipment consists of the following:

Ultrafiltation - JurbyFlow 3х45 m3/h,

Reverse osmosis - JurbyFlow 2х44 m3/h,

Sorption plant - AquaHard 80 m3/h,

Mixed bed filter - Aquahard 80 m3/h,

Deaerator  80 m3/h.
