Jurby WaterTech International has delivered the second batch of equipment to the Pregolskaya power plant

Jurby WaterTech International continues progressing in Project Pregolskaya Power Plant in Kaliningrad (Russian Federation), owned by for „Inter RAO-Engineering“, as a EPC contractor for the water treatment solution.

We have successfully shipped and delivered the second batch of technologies which includes several pumping stations, chemical dosing units and Reverse Osmosis Vessels with integrated membranes with accessories and instruments, this second batch of delivery represents the 40% of all technologies of the project. Jurby WaterTech International is using pressure vessels manufactured by our partner company Nowadays Technologies (Pressure Vessels model 6 meters length, 300 psi, material FRP).

The water treatment plant will be put in operation in June 2018 after finalizing the installation works and the commissioning period.

Jurby WaterTech International has already completed the engineering design and shipping 80% of the equipment to site, the installation stage is expected to start in March 2018, Start up and commissioning works will finish at the end of May 2018 and the plant will be operative in June 2018.

In this project Jurby WaterTech International supplies all technologies related to the demineralization water treatment plant (pumps, chemical dosing, filters, Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO) and EDI (electro deionization)) and full automation system to operate the plant.

Note: The construction of the Pregolskaya power plant is conducted on the site adjacent to Kaliningrad CHPP-2. The plant includes 4 combined cycles power units (each unit 110 MW). This new power source will not only provide the energy in Kaliningrad region but also make its power grid more flexible.
