Jurby WaterTech International executes start-up and commissioning works at Antipinsky Oil Refinery facility start

anpz1.jpg (thumb, 240x105)Jurby WaterTech International continues implementing a project for Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC (Tyumen, Russian Federation). Currently, the company technicians proceeded to the closing phase of the project - performance of start-up and commissioning works regarding a condensate purification plant at the facility “Workflow Phase III of Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC Construction”. It will be recalled that our company has performed a full range of works for this Customer including design and manufacture of АquaHard water treatment system.

About project

The main objectives of Antipinsky Oil Refinery to be achieved until the end of the year 2015 are as follows: to increase the volume of oil product output from 4.1 to 7. 5 million tons per year, reach the oil processing depth of 94% and transfer to the production of gasoline complying with Euro-5 standard.

Due to the fact that the construction of a refinery with the maximum possible oil processing depth producing the complete range of high-quality engine fuels requires significant capital investments, the refineries are constructed in several workflow phases.

In other words, each workflow phase implies the organization of a certain complete production cycle of oil refining and shipment of a certain range of oil products of agreed quality to consumers.

Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC adopted that particular development strategy. Workflow Phase I of the enterprise construction was commissioned in 2006 while Workflow Phase II – in 2010. Phase III of construction of Antipinsky Oil Refinery‘s facilities is currently under way.

The construction of off-plant facilities, such as  boiler house, gas control units (GCU), distribution substations, recirculating water supply unit and more, is necessary for the normal operation of processing facilities. In the process of purification, it is required to remove from condensate the possible mechanical impurities, oil products, iron compounds and hardness ions. To accomplish this, it was decided to use the methods of sorption filtration and sodium cation exchange softening. The process of water softening by sodium cation exchange softening method is organised in two stages. The second stage is used for deep softening of condensate.

History of cooperation

It is the second project Jurby WaterTech International implements for Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC. Cooperation between our companies started in 2011. Jurby WaterTech International designed, manufactured and performed installation and commissioning of a 200 m3/h container-type water treatment complex for Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC. The complex was successfully put into commercial operation early in 2012. It is worth noting that all works were executed to high standards of quality and on term and meet the customer’s requirements and technical specification, as the official papers say. The water treatment complex is intended for provision of facilities of Antipinsky Oil Refinery’s finished products area with water (production needs: a steam boiler-house, as well as, utility and drinking needs).
