Equipment for a new large project in Kazakhstan’s energy sector is shipped

Jurby WaterTech International continues its operations for the energy sector of Kazakhstan. Shipment of 140 m3/h equipment for TPP-2 in Astana city according to contract “Water treatment plant (WTP) intended for treatment of circulating system water” is completed.

A set of equipment consists of the following:

- 2 pumping groups;

- Series F AquaHard mechanical self-cleaning filter plant;

- JurbyFlow ultrafiltration plant;

- CIP equipment washing plant;

- JurbyFlow reverse osmosis (RO) plant;

- AquaDOS circulating system water treatment system;

- AquaHard effluent neutralization unit;

- PC-automated process visualization station;

- automatic control panels.

After delivery of equipment to the Customer’s construction site, technical specialists of our company will carry out the works on its erection supervision and start-up and commissioning.

Reference. Astana TPP-2 was put into operation in 1985.  To provide a stable and steady operation of the energy complex in Astana city, modernization and expansion of TPP-2 are currently underway. The total thermal power of TPP-2 amounts to 925 Gcal and the electric power – to 350 MW.
